What We
Deliver

Building a custom home is the most involved project a homeowner undertakes — and the one where choosing the wrong contractor costs the most. We make it straightforward: one point of contact, transparent line-item pricing, and a process designed so you always know where things stand.

Matt stays personally involved from the first permit application through the final walkthrough — on-site regularly, knowing every subcontractor by name, catching problems before they become expensive fixes.

We've completed custom builds across River Oaks, Memorial, West University, and the surrounding Greater Houston Area — every one of them delivered on time and on budget.

Site prep, foundation, framing, roofing, windows, and exterior doors. The full structural shell built to spec — inspected and approved at every required stage.

03

Finish & Walkthrough

Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, all interior finish work, cabinetry, and landscaping coordination. Matt walks the finished home with you personally before handing over the keys.

Custom Home Building FAQs

How do Houston flood zones affect a new build?

Building in Harris County requires careful attention to flood plain regulations updated after 2018. If your lot falls within a 100-year or 500-year flood zone, city ordinances require the lowest floor be elevated at least two feet above the 500-year flood elevation. We coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and city permitting officials to ensure your foundation, floor elevations, and drainage comply while maximizing usable living space.

What does it cost to build a custom home in Houston?

Standard new builds in Harris County typically run $150–$200 per square foot. High-end custom homes with premium finishes, complex rooflines, or smart-home technology can reach $500 or more per square foot. We provide transparent, upfront pricing with no hidden fees — so you can move forward with confidence, not guesswork.

What features do you recommend for Houston's climate?

Houston's heat, humidity, and storm exposure demand more than a standard build. We routinely incorporate impact-resistant windows, variable-speed HVAC with whole-home dehumidifiers, closed-cell spray foam insulation, elevated foundations, deep covered outdoor spaces, and whole-home standby generators. These aren't luxury add-ons in this climate — they're practical investments that protect your home and your comfort long-term.

What happens during pre-construction?

The months before breaking ground are often the most critical. Pre-construction includes site evaluation and soil testing, architectural design and blueprints, permitting and municipal approvals, and detailed budgeting with all material selections locked in. A thorough pre-construction phase is what separates builds that stay on schedule from ones that don't.
